The Pines - Knullebu

Knullebu,  known as the cabin in the Pines, is a beautiful wooden house that forms part of half acre of land. Situated in St. Ann's, Port of Spain, this private location is deal for weddings, engagements, family functions, limes and camping.

(I eh go lie, I never hear about this place in my life before) Kes the band's Instagram page posted a photo of the cabin and seeing many comments from other users, it caught my attention.

The cabin's Facebook page indicates the house can be used for all types of functions, private, romantic, family limes etc. Personally, the layout looks a bit romantic, but I can see a small lime happening over a long weekend (and Trinis love ah long weekend)

The cabin itself is very cozy, judging by the photos posted on their Facebook page. However, there's only one bedroom so if you're planning to stay with a group of friends, bring your camping bags.

The cabin is equipped with full amenities and and outside shower and toilet facility. Doesn't this look like something straight out of a fairy tale? (What's that one with the girl who wandered into a cabin in the woods? Sleeping Beauty? Snow White?)

Trini slang - A basic guide before you visit

Whether you're visiting home after a while, or just need to know what the yout and dem saying here's a quick guide. Now I want to make it clear, Trini slang is different from other Caribbean regions' slang. A lot of tourists compare our dialect to Jamaican but don't say that to either country before you get a cut eye. On d Avenue lime

  Photo by Trevette Ramlakhan here On a regular work day Ariapita Avenue is business as usual serving customers and provides a quick lunch stop for many persons working in the Port of Spain area but by night, it comes alive as one of the most exciting things to do. As you may know by now, Trinis love a lime and trust me when I say we don't let things like a silly weekday stop that. I'll tell you something ; the avenue is open every week night. Yes, I said week night because we know how to go to work, take a power nap, reach a party and make it to work the next day normal. This is the land of party and vibes. Situated near the capital city, the avenue is packed with bars and lounges to cater to every budget.
